Emeritus Prof. Emmanuel Nwanze, Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Delta Agbor, led a tree planting exercise at the university’s main campus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, praising the management’s commitment to sustainability.

Prof. Nwanze expressed his appreciation for the institution's leadership in launching the initiative, emphasizing the importance of environmental consciousness within the university community.

Prof. Nwanze encouraged both staff and students to maintain a culture of environmental care that would ensure the growth and longevity of the newly planted trees. The initiative, envisioned by Prof. Emelue, was lauded by the council chairman, who credited the management with supporting this impactful project.
