UNIDEL Entrepreneurship Department to Support First-Class Graduates with International Scholarships

The Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has pledged support for final-year students graduating with first-class honors by facilitating international scholarships.

This assurance was given by the Head of Department, Dr. Ernest Chukwuka, during an orientation for first-year students. He emphasized that the initiative aims to encourage academic excellence and reward outstanding performance.

Dr. Chukwuka highlighted the department's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity, equipping students with skills to thrive in the business world. He assured that graduates who achieve first-class honors would receive automatic scholarships to further their studies abroad.

The orientation also featured lectures delivered by notable resource persons, including Dr. Abude Peter, Dr. Egbule Solomon, Dr. George Agbele, Mr. Ossai Theophilus, Dr. Iweka Andrew, and Dr. Chukwuka himself.

During the event, top-performing students for the 2023/2024 academic session were recognized and awarded. The honorees were:

Ujiro Nseabasi (CGPA: 4.40)

Chidima Benita Olisa (CGPA: 4.35)

Chinyenum Lucy (CGPA: 4.32)

To further motivate the students, Dr. Peter Abude gifted each of the awardees ₦20,000.

Dr. Chukwuka encouraged all students to embrace hard work, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence, as the department continues to provide interactive and relevant programs tailored to the modern business landscape.
