UNIDEL Governing Council Chairman Inspects Projects in the University, Applauds VC
The Governing Council Chairman of University of Delta Agbor, Emeritus, Prof Emmanuel Nwanze has lauded the Vice Chancellor of the University for her excellent performance.
The Governing Council Chairman of University of Delta Agbor, Emeritus, Prof Emmanuel Nwanze has lauded the Vice Chancellor of the University for her excellent performance.
Prof. Nwanze gave the commendation during the inspection of the ongoing projects in the institution on Wednesday, 14th August 2024.
He said he was highly impressed by the ongoing massive projects in the University within a short period of time.
"The Vice Chancellor performance is wonderful. It is really super. I take conginance of the fact that l saw most of these projects in inception because l was the chairman of the implementation committee that went round the three campuses".
"I really commend Prof. Stella Chiemeke. She has really displayed high level of diligence. I thank all the council members and the entire University staff for their contributions towards the speedy growth of this institution."
At the 500-capacity lecture hall in the main campus, the site supervisor, Mr. Sam Aguihe showed the Council Chairman, members and the management team the chairs being fixed for use by the students.
The team was at the entrepreneurship center where they conducted around by the Director, Dr Cyprian Okoduwa. Units inspected here included barbing saloon, soap making, hair dressing and cosmetology.
The Inspection team also visited the Tetfund sponsored projects, Sports complex, Faculty of Agriculture and the Performing Arts Complex.
At the old site, inspections on the Medical Library, Basic Medical Science block as well as the Staff Model Secondary School buildings were carried out.
During the inspection tour, the Council Chairman was accompanied by members of the council, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu and the Librarian, Dr Mrs Vera Okonoko.
Others were the Director of Works, Engineer Evans Ogwu, the medical team and the head of Procurement, Mr Zaibe Christain.
