The administration of the Vice-Chancellor of University of Delta Agbor, Stella Chiemeke, has expanded its investment in skills development with the installation of modern sewing equipment at the university’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development.

The upgrade, carried out under the Vice-Chancellor’s administration, features a fully equipped sewing unit fitted with multi-million naira industrial-grade machines aimed at strengthening practical vocational training and student employability.
On March 31, 2026, members of the university management conducted an inspection tour of the newly installed equipment to assess readiness for full-scale training operations. The facility is expected to support hands-on skill acquisition for students enrolled in entrepreneurship and vocational programmes.

The development reflects the university’s ongoing push to integrate practical enterprise skills into academic learning, with emphasis on self-reliance, innovation, and job creation among graduates.
