UNILAG Alumni Association Seeks Collaboration with LSDPC for Student Support and Development Initiatives
UNILAG Alumni Association-Lagos Branch recently paid a visit to the Lagos State Property and Development Corporation (LSDPC) to strengthen ties and explore collaboration opportunities.
The Unilag Alumni Association-Lagos Branch recently conducted a productive visit to the Lagos State Property and Development Corporation's office (LSDPC) to foster stronger ties and explore potential collaborations. Led by Chairman Owoeye-Adeyemo Adedeji (OVO) and two other members, the Executive Committee members commended Hon. Ayodeji Joseph, Managing Director/CEO of LSDPC, for his notable achievements and leadership within the Corporation.

During the visit, the Unilag Alumni Association's Executive Committee members advocated for support and collaboration from LSDPC across various initiatives. These included proposing the establishment of the LSDPC Prize Awards to recognize outstanding students in Built/Construction related courses at the University of Lagos. Additionally, they sought opportunities for providing employment and internship positions for Unilag students and graduates, assistance with facilities upgrade, and sponsorship for financially disadvantaged students seeking to further their education.
In response, the Corporation expressed interest in fostering closer collaboration with the University management to facilitate town-gown synergy, thereby better preparing students for real-world challenges.

Looking ahead, the association anticipates further engagements with LSDPC and other organizations to contribute to the creation of a vibrant and prosperous society. The LSDPC, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Executive Committee members of the Unilag Alumni Association for their visit and assured them of positive feedback soon regarding the proposed areas of collaboration and support.
