The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has appointed Professor Blessing E. Anyikwa as the Coordinator of Professors Without Borders (PROWIBO) for a two-year tenure, effective from February 10, 2025, to February 9, 2027.
Prof. Anyikwa, a distinguished academic in the Department of Adult Education, Faculty of Education, currently serves as the Deputy Dean I of Students Affairs at UNILAG. Her appointment underscores the university’s commitment to advancing global academic partnerships and fostering knowledge exchange.
The Vice-Chancellor of UNILAG, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, extended heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Anyikwa on behalf of the University Senate, staff, and students. She expressed confidence in her ability to lead PROWIBO effectively and wished her a successful tenure.
