University of Lagos, Faculty of Law set to hold the second (2nd) edition of the National Data Protection Moot Court Competition.

The Faculty of Law, University of Lagos is set to hold the second (2nd) edition of the National Data Protection Moot Court Competition from Wednesday, November 29 to Thursday, November 30, 2023. Interested participants are to register via https://is.gd/XIuHe2 .

The Moot Court is organised as part of the project to strengthen a compliance-ready environment for data protection in Nigeria.

Eligibility

All Faculties of Law in Nigeria are eligible to contest.

Important Dates

Registration: All Faculties/participants are invited to register via https://is.gd/XIuHe2 Registration which is ongoing will end on Sunday, September 24, 2023

All Memorials are to reach the organisers by latest Sunday, October 15, 2023

Quarter Final Round: Top 8 Memorials will be invited for virtual quarter final rounds which would take place between Monday, November 6 and Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Qualifiers for the Semi-finals and finals physical oral rounds will be notified by Wednesday, November 15, 2023

Semi-finals and finals oral qualifiers will be hosted at the University of Lagos between Wednesday, November 29 and Thursday, November 30, 2023.
