UNILAG Reiterates Zero Tolerance for Malpractice After 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has restated its zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice following the successful conclusion of the 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening assessment held from 1st to 4th September 2025. A total of 20,464 candidates participated in the exercise.

In a statement, the University disclosed that some candidates engaged in various forms of malpractice, contrary to the examination guidelines. It stressed that, based on the outcome of ongoing investigations and reviews, such candidates will be rendered ineligible for admission.

UNILAG further noted that its official communication channels remain open for updates but emphasized that it is in possession of verifiable evidence of infractions.
The institution assured prospective students and stakeholders of its unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of its admissions process.
