University of Lagos (UNILAG) Staff Training and Development Unit (STDU) is set to conduct an immersion training program designed for members of staff who recently transitioned from roles in Executives, Media, Security, Library Officers, Administrative Assistants, and Porter Cadres to the Administrative and Executive Officers Cadres. The training, themed "New Role, New You: Acquiring Relevant Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude for New Job Roles," aims to equip these employees with the essential competencies for their new responsibilities.

The program will run in two batches. Batch A will undergo training on Monday, November 11, and Tuesday, November 12, 2024, while Batch B is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 14, 2024. Sessions will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the STDU, located opposite the Faculty of Science building.

In addition to the two-day training, a job-shadowing experience will be available to all participants on Friday, November 15, 2024, providing practical insights and on-the-job exposure to enhance their understanding of the administrative and executive functions.
