The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, has approved the appointment and re-appointment of several key officials within the institution.

The approved appointments and renewals include notable academic and administrative figures who will serve in various capacities to enhance the university's development. The details are as follows:

  1. Prof. Olawale Ajibola has been re-appointed as the Director of the National Centre for Energy Efficiency (NCEE) for a two-year tenure from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2027.

  2. Dr. Victor Onifade has been re-appointed as Deputy Director of International Relations, Partnerships, and Prospects (IRPP) for a one-year tenure from January 5, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

  3. Dr. Yewande Omotola Ntekim-Rex has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute, effective from March 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026.

  4. Dr. Mojisola Nkechi Manuel has been appointed as Deputy Director (Entrepreneurship) at the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre, with a tenure spanning from March 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026.

  5. Dr. Adeyinka Oluwo has been appointed as Deputy Director (Skills) at the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre, serving from March 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026.

  6. Dr. John Faloju has been appointed as Deputy Director of General Studies (GST), with his tenure running from March 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026.

  7. Dr. Oluwafemi Ipinnimo has been appointed as Deputy Director of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Hub, effective from March 12, 2025, to March 11, 2026.
