Professor Mustapha Kokari, a senior lecturer at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has died.

Prof. Kokari was a former Dean of the Faculty of Science University of Maiduguri.
The news of his demise was confirmed by his and members of the UNIMAID community.

UNIMAID UPDATE, posted the news online, saying: 'Inna lillahi wa inna lillahi raaji'un, with a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Allah SWT, I regret to announce the passing away of Prof. Mustapha Kokari.
