UNIMAID Outgoing SUG President, Comrade Munir Hassan Nababa, Reflects on His Administration's Achievements

 18th of December 2023, marked the official conclusion and dissolution of the 2022/2023 Students' Union Government (SUG) administration at the University of Maiduguri. Comrade Munir Hassan Nababa, the outgoing President, took the opportunity to share a heartfelt goodwill message expressing gratitude, reflection, and hopes for the future.

In his message, Comrade Munir Hassan Nababa reflected on the inspiring, progressive, and transformative journey of his administration, noting the challenges faced and the achievements attained within the university community. He expressed deep appreciation to the top university management, his executive council, appointees, and the entire student body for their support and collaboration throughout the tenure.

Installation of margin television for students' entertainment at the university's new auditorium.

Conducting official visits to various hostels to address student challenges.

Provision of a free SUG bus to aid students' punctuality to classes.

Renovation and safety enhancements in hostel facilities, including toilets and doors.

Organization of the Fresher's Day program and the recognition of deserving students.

Installation of 50 solar panels for improved lighting in select areas on campus.

Lobbying efforts leading to consistent electricity supply on campus.

Sanitation and renovation of hostel facilities, including sewers and wiring.
