18th of December 2023, marked the official conclusion and dissolution of the 2022/2023 Students' Union Government (SUG) administration at the University of Maiduguri. Comrade Munir Hassan Nababa, the outgoing President, took the opportunity to share a heartfelt goodwill message expressing gratitude, reflection, and hopes for the future.

In his message, Comrade Munir Hassan Nababa reflected on the inspiring, progressive, and transformative journey of his administration, noting the challenges faced and the achievements attained within the university community. Organization of the Fresher's Day program and the recognition of deserving students.
Installation of 50 solar panels for improved lighting in select areas on campus.
Lobbying efforts leading to consistent electricity supply on campus.
