UNIMED to Host 11th Distinguished Lecture on Universities and National Development

The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, will host its 11th Distinguished Lecture on March 6, 2025, at the Oladipupo Akinkugbe Hall, Laje Medical Campus. Themed "University and National Development in an Era of Economic Challenges," the lecture will be delivered by Mr. Martin Oloja, former Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian Newspapers.

The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, is set to host its 11th Distinguished Lecture, focusing on the theme "University and National Development in an Era of Economic Challenges." The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Oladipupo Akinkugbe Hall, Laje Medical Campus, Ondo.

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Martin Oloja, the former Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian Newspapers Limited, Nigeria. Mr. Oloja, a seasoned journalist and media expert, is expected to provide critical insights into the role of universities in shaping national development, particularly in the face of economic difficulties.
