UNIPORT Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Applicants

The Management of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has released the approved admission requirements for Direct Entry applicants for the 2024/2025 academic session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT ENTRY (DE)

The following requirements must be met for an applicant to be considered for admission into the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) through Direct Entry:

• A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in English Language, Mathematics, and three additional courses pertinent to the program you wish to pursue must be earned in no more than two sittings.
• In two subjects relating to their field of study, candidates must have A’level or IJMB passes.

• Passing scores in related JUPEB/A-Level subjects.
• Degree (First Class/Second Upper) in a field relevant to your course of study.
• Direct entrance applicants must acquire the UNIPORT Direct entrance form from both the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the UNIPORT portal www.uniport.edu.ng.

• 

• Merit Pass is the minimal requirement for the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
