ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT ENTRY (DE)
The following requirements must be met for an applicant to be considered for admission into the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) through Direct Entry:
- A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level Credits at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) in English Language, Mathematics, and three additional courses pertinent to the program you wish to pursue must be earned in no more than two sittings.
- In two subjects relating to their field of study, candidates must have A’level or IJMB passes.

- Passing scores in related JUPEB/A-Level subjects.
- Degree (First Class/Second Upper) in a field relevant to your course of study.
- Direct entrance applicants must acquire the UNIPORT Direct entrance form from both the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the UNIPORT portal www.uniport.edu.ng.
- Merit Pass is the minimal requirement for the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
