UNIPORT Admission Requirements for 2024/2025 Session

The Management of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has released the approved admission requirements for UTME and Direct Entry applicants for the 2024/2025 academic session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UTME 

Candidates who seek to get admitted to Uniport through JAMB (UTME) must meet the criteria listed below:

• A minimum of five Ordinary Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and three other courses pertinent to the course you wish to pursue in no more than two sittings from the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE).
• To be successful in your course, you must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination.

• To be considered for admission into the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), applicants must have received a score of at least 150 on the recently completed Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME examination.
• The first and/or most favored option must be Uniport.
• You must take part in the UNIPORT POST UTME/SCREENING in order to be eligible for admission for the upcoming academic year.
• The minimum age for applicants is 16.
