The University of Port Harcourt (UniPort) has issued an important notice to all current and prospective students regarding the issuance of matriculation numbers.

The University clarified that no fee is required for the issuance of matriculation numbers or for the clearance process. Matriculation numbers are automatically assigned upon successful completion of the official clearance process through the University’s automated system.

Students are advised not to fall victim to fraudsters who may demand payment for these services. Any attempts at such fraud should be reported immediately to the University Authorities.
