University College Hospital Ibadan Hosts Joint Induction and Convocation Ceremony

The University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan hosted a joint induction and convocation ceremony for the Oyo State College of Science and Technology, Eleyele, and the School of Health Information Management (SHIM), UCH, on November 13, 2025. The event took place at the Nurses' Tutors Course Hall, UCH Ibadan.

During the ceremony, Dr. Benson Orogbole, representing the Registrar of the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, Alhaji Babagana Mustapha, advised the inductees to remain disciplined and committed in their professional duties. The Provost of the School and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Professor Olubukola Adesina, urged the graduands to uphold the institution's vision of excellence and emphasized the importance of integrity, empathy, hard work, and lifelong learning in their future endeavors.

The Head of the School, Mr. Olufemi Omolade, expressed gratitude to stakeholders, including UCH Management, students, graduands, lecturers, and parents, for their contributions to the students' success. The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, congratulated the graduating students on achieving a remarkable milestone and highlighted the crucial role of information management in modern healthcare, particularly in the era of digital transformation.
