University of Delta VC Lauds Faculty of Social Sciences Growth, Celebrates Faculty Dean

During the 2024/2025 orientation for first-year students, Prof. Chiemeke commended the Dean, Prof. Ben Nwanne, for his leadership and dedication, which she credited for the faculty's rapid development. She particularly highlighted the strides in the Department of Mass Communication, calling it a hub for excellence.
The Vice Chancellor also recognized Dr. Chenube Olufunke for her pivotal role in advancing the Department of Psychology and encouraged the new students to remain focused and aim for high academic performance.
The orientation included presentations by Prof. Ben Nwanne, Rev. Jude Ezenwa, and Dr. Godspower, who represented Lt. Col. I. O. Olugbuyi, covering topics designed to guide students through their academic journey.
A key moment of the event was the recognition of top-performing students with outstanding CGPAs: Ayeoritse Favour Okoturo (5.0), Faith Chisimdi Udum (5.0), Stephanie Nwabuafa (4.96), and Sheila Osamudiame Blessby (4.78).
The Vice Chancellor concluded by reaffirming her commitment to fostering academic excellence across the university.
