University of Ibadan Announces Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission Form Release for 2023/2024 Academic Session

The University of Ibadan (UI) is pleased to announce the commencement of the Post UTME and Direct Entry admission application process for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Registration Period

Prospective candidates are hereby informed that the admission portal will be open for post-UTME Registration from Monday, October 23, 2023, to Friday, November 17, 2023. It is important to note that there will be no extension of the registration period beyond this deadline.

Date of Post UTME Examination

The Post-UTME examination is scheduled to take place from Monday, November 27, 2023, to Friday, December 1, 2023. Specific examination dates for each candidate will be communicated at a later time. To facilitate this communication, candidates are strongly advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The University will not be held responsible for any failure to receive important information due to invalid email addresses or non-functional phone numbers.

Age RequirementS

Candidates should be aware that those who will not attain the age of sixteen (16) as of the time of admission application will not be cleared for admission until the following academic session.

Admission Requirements

For candidates seeking admission to programs at the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, a minimum of five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects is required. Other programs, where candidates present two O/level results, necessitate a minimum of six (6) credits in relevant subjects.

Please note that the University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB and JUPEP certificates for admission. Instead, the University recognizes certificates from WAEC, NECO, ICGS, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, NRN, OND, HND, and degree certificates from recognized institutions for Direct Entry admission.
