The University of Ibadan has announced a new 10-hour daily electricity supply schedule, approved by the Vice-Chancellor. This development aims to address the power needs of the university community and improve the overall student and staff experience.

The Director of Works, Engr. O.A. Adetolu, conveyed the new schedule in an internal memorandum (REF: DMW/002/092) dated July 16, 2024. The approved electricity supply schedule is as follows:

Day Time: 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM (6 hours)

Night Time: 10:00 PM to 02:00 AM (4 hours)

This structured power supply schedule is designed to ensure that essential academic and residential activities are supported efficiently during both day and night.
