University of Ibadan Ready to Launch New Academic Programmes
The University of Ibadan has reaffirmed its readiness to launch new academic programmes, citing the provision of necessary human and material resources.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Peter Olapegba, made this assertion while receiving officials of the National Universities Commission (NUC) on a resource verification visit.
Professor Olapegba emphasized the university's commitment to sustaining its reputation for excellence, stating that the institution has made deliberate efforts to create a conducive environment for learning despite limitations. He assured that the university possesses the necessary facilities and personnel for the smooth commencement of the new programmes once approval is granted.
The NUC team appreciated the university's warm reception and hospitality, noting that the verification exercise aims to validate the facilities and resources presented by the university to guide the commission's final recommendations
