University of Ilorin to Host 289th Inaugural Lecture

University of Ilorin to Host 289th Inaugural Lecture

The University of Ilorin is set to host its 289th inaugural lecture, titled "Sustainable, Smart, and Safe Pastoralism in Nigeria," on August 14, 2025. The lecture will take place at the University Auditorium on the main campus, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Sidiqat Aderinoye-Abdulwaha, a renowned expert in Rural Livelihoods and Development. She holds a B. Agriculture degree from the University of Ilorin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Master's degree from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and a Ph.D. from the University of Reading, UK.
