University of Jos Releases Registration Guidelines for Newly Admitted Students
The University of Jos has announced the commencement of registration for newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The registration exercise started on December 16, 2024, and will end on January 11, 2025.
According to the university's registrar, Dr. Rejoice James Songden, the registration process involves several steps, including pre-registration, payment of pre-registration charges, bio-data registration, central registration, departmental registration, payment of school charges, generation of matriculation number, online registration of courses, hostel accommodation, library registration, and university health services registration.
The university has advised students to carefully follow the registration procedures to avoid any challenges. Newly admitted students are required to check their admission status on the university's website and print their admission letters.
The university has also announced that limited hostel accommodation will be allocated to students who have paid all current and outstanding school charges. Students are advised to register online and print five copies of the library registration form.
The university's health services registration is also mandatory for all students. Students are required to register online and pay the medical charges.
The university has assured students that the registration process will be smooth and hassle-free, and that any challenges encountered during the process will be promptly addressed.
