University of Lagos Invites Applications for Postgraduate Programmes for 2024/2025 Session

Mode of Study: The University offers various modes of study, including Full Time, Part Time, Executive, and Open Distance Learning (ODL) options, providing flexibility to suit diverse needs.
Application Guidelines:

Application Period: Prospective candidates can access Application Forms from Monday, 26th February to Friday, 30th August, 2024.

Submission Deadline: Completed Application Forms must be submitted ONLINE no later than Friday, 13th September, 2024.

Application Procedure:
- Visit the School of Postgraduate Studies University of Lagos Portal at http://spgs.unilag.edu.ng and click on the 2024/2025 Applications link.
- Confirm the availability and eligibility of the desired course.
- Click the “Application Form” link and select the Postgraduate option from the Application Type menu.
- Complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a Payment Reference Number and print the payment advice.
- Make payment of the non-refundable fee of N30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand Naira Only) for the Form and charges through Remita Payment at any commercial bank using the RRR number displayed on the payment advice, or via Online Payment using the PayNow link.
- After payment, return to the School of Postgraduate Studies website, click the 2024/2025 Application link, then “Continue Application” link, and log in with the ‘Payment Reference Number’ and provide the surname in lowercase as the password.
- Complete the Application form, upload a digital passport photograph (jpeg format), and submit the form.

Additional Instructions:
- Candidates are advised to carefully review the requirements for their desired programmes to confirm eligibility.
- Applicants awaiting Bachelor’s degree results, currently undergoing Postgraduate programmes, or Nigerian citizens who have not completed the National Youth Service Corps assignments are ineligible.
- Holders of Degrees obtained from Outreach/Satellite campuses are also ineligible.
- Every applicant must upload ALL credentials listed on the application form, including Degree Certificates (Not Statement of Results), NYSC Certificate, and Professional Certificates.
- Academic Transcripts must reach the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, on or before the beginning of the registration/screening exercise.
- M.Phil./Ph.D. candidates should contact the relevant Departments for Supervisor availability/vacancies before applying.

Important Dates:
- ONLINE Qualifying Examinations: Scheduled for the week of 23rd September to 28th September, 2024.
