University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS) School Announces Vacancies for Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions

The University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS) School, a private Nursery and Primary institution established in 1967, has announced vacancies for teaching and non-teaching positions. The school, located within the serene environment of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Akoka campus, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.

Available Positions:

Teaching Staff:

• Class Teacher III (Early Childhood Education) – ULWSSS 6

Applicants must possess an NCE in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution, with at least five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Candidates should also have a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate, be computer literate, and be under the age of 40. Prior experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Requirements for Non-Teaching Positions:

• Head of School (ULWSSS 14): Candidates must hold a B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.A. (Ed.) from a recognized institution with at least a Second-Class Lower Division, along with a compulsory higher degree and a minimum of 18 years of teaching experience. TRCN certification is also required. Applicants must be at least 50 years old.

• Deputy Head of School (Academic) – Internal Advert Only: Candidates must have a B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.A. (Ed.), with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division and a higher degree. A minimum of 17 years of teaching experience and TRCN certification are required. Applicants must be at least 45 years old.

• Executive Officer (Account) – ULWSSS 6: Candidates must have an OND with a minimum of Lower Credit and at least one year of relevant experience.

• Assistant Executive Officer (Account) – ULWSSS 5: Candidates must have an OND with a minimum of Lower Credit. No prior experience is required.

• Cleaner – ULWSSS 2: Candidates must have at least three passes in SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O’ Level.

• Driver – ULWSSS 3: Candidates must have three passes in SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O’ Level, along with a valid Class ‘E’ driver’s license and Trade Test II certification. A minimum of three years of experience is required.

For positions 3, 4, 5, and 6, applicants should not be older than 45 years.
