University of Maiduguri Announces Temporary Electricity Interruption

The University of Maiduguri has announced a temporary interruption of electricity supply on campus due to the ongoing 12MW project. The interruption will occur from 8am to 5pm daily for three weeks, starting from September 6, 2024.
The purpose of the interruption is to enable the extension of the 11KV network from Gate 1 Injection substation to UMTH Injection Substation, ensuring a safe working space on campus.
The university community is requested to cooperate and exercise patience during this period.
