University of Maiduguri Issues Important Notice to NELFUND Loan Beneficiaries
The SRO will be available to assist students on Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, as well as on Saturday, October 19, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The deadline for submission is set for Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
The University of Maiduguri's Student Affairs Division has announced important information for students who have been granted loans by the Nigerian Educational Loan Fund (NELFUND). Affected students are required to provide essential details to facilitate the processing of their refunds.
Students must submit their account name, account number, and bank name to the Student Records Officer (SRO) at the Student Affairs Division. The SRO will be available to assist students on Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, as well as on Saturday, October 19, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The deadline for submission is set for Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Additionally, students whose fees have been settled through NELFUND will soon receive their receipts from the Bursary Department. These receipts, which are currently being processed, will serve as proof of payment and will be ready for collection at each student's faculty on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
The Bursary Department has also reported that it has received and processed applications for the second batch of NELFUND loans and is now awaiting further action from NELFUND headquarters in Abuja. The university administration will continue to provide updates on the progress of these developments.
