University of Maiduguri Maintains Suspension of Contract Appointments for Retired Staff

The University of Maiduguri has announced that the suspension of contract appointments for retired staff, initially implemented in 2020 due to financial constraints, remains in effect.
The suspension, which was approved by the University's Top Management Committee at its 109th meeting on July 18, 2020, will continue to apply except in certain critical areas.
The university management regrets any inconvenience this decision may cause and appreciates the understanding of its staff members.
