University of Maiduguri Students Union Government Addresses NELFUND Payment Issues

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the University of Maiduguri has issued an update on the NELFUND payment issues affecting students.

According to the statement signed by SUG President Hafiz Muhammad Bello, the union has been working to resolve issues related to failed refund transactions due to invalid account details.

Affected students are advised to check the list posted at the Student Affairs Division and submit alternative account details to facilitate payment.

Additionally, students with outstanding school fees or part payments approved for NELFUND in the first batch will have their payments cleared next week.

The SUG also announced that the second batch disbursement is scheduled for the end of this month.

The union appealed for patience and understanding as they work with the management to resolve these issues.
