University of Maiduguri Students' Union Government Addresses Pressing Concerns

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the University of Maiduguri has issued a press release addressing key concerns and encouraging students' resilience during the current academic session.

SUG President Hafiz Mohammed Bello emphasized that students' well-being and academic success remain the union's top priority.

In the statement, Bello addressed a false social media post claiming SUG executives are fighting, condemning the misinformation and urging students to disregard it. He emphasized that spreading false propaganda harms the school's image and individuals involved, encouraging students to maintain a positive online presence.

The union has also acknowledged students' complaints regarding Nelfund loan refunds and fumigation concerns. Bello assured that the SUG is working with management to resolve these issues, requesting students to exercise patience.
