University of Maiduguri VC Inspects Upgraded Postgraduate Laboratory

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, has visited the renovated Postgraduate Studies Laboratory in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The laboratory was upgraded by Her Excellency, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Borno State, Hajiya Dr. Falmata.

The VC commended the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for its significant contributions to animal health, research, and community service in Borno State and beyond. He noted that the renovation will enhance the learning and research environment, providing postgraduate students with a more conducive space for study and experimentation.

The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Yakubu Ahmed Giedam, expressed gratitude to Her Excellency for her generous support and to the VC for his ongoing commitment to the faculty. The upgraded laboratory is expected to equip students with modern facilities to conduct research, sharpen their skills, and drive advancements in veterinary medicine.
