University on the Niger 2023-2024 Admission Requirements

O’Level Requirements

Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects. This must include English Language and Mathematics, among other subjects relevant to your chosen course of study.

JAMB/UTME Score

Applicants must have taken the 2023 JAMB University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 150 to be eligible for admission consideration.

Change of Institution/Course

Prospective students who have not designated the University on the Niger as their first choice must complete a ‘Change of Institution/Course’ on the JAMB Portal.

Application Fee and Procedure

A non-refundable application fee of N2,000 is required to process the application. To apply:

1. Visit the University on the Niger’s official website.

2. Navigate to “ADMISSIONS” and click on “Apply Now.”

3. Fill out the Application Purchase Form and make your online payment.

4. Complete your application form and either submit it online or print the acknowledgment slip for your records.

Screening Mode

The university will conduct the admission screening based on candidates' JAMB UTME results and verified O’Level results. It is crucial that you upload your O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
