UNIZIK Acting Vice-Chancellor Approves Free Tuition for Staff Pursuing Postgraduate Studies

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi, has approved the waiving of tuition fees for staff members pursuing postgraduate studies at the institution, effective from the 2024/2025 academic session.

This decision was formally communicated through a memo issued by the Acting Registrar, Rev. Sam Ufoh, and addressed to the entire university community. The memo stated that both teaching and non-teaching staff would benefit from this initiative.

"The University wishes to inform all staff members, both teaching and non-teaching, that beginning with the 2024/2025 academic session, the institution will cover the tuition fees for any staff member pursuing postgraduate studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University," the statement read.
