Nnamdi Azikiwe University Medical Centre has commenced intensive staff training ahead of the deployment of the CARE365 Health Hub, a digital healthcare system developed by SiliconHub to modernise medical service delivery through integrated smart health technologies.

The training exercise began on May 27, 2026, as part of preparations for the full rollout scheduled for June 1, 2026. The initiative is aimed at strengthening healthcare operations within the university’s medical centre and improving service delivery for students, staff, and the wider university community.

The project is being led by SiliconHub, a healthcare technology and innovation company responsible for deployment, system integration, technical activation, and capacity building for medical personnel.

The CARE365 Health Hub integrates five core healthcare solutions, including CARE365 Mobile Clinic, CARE365 Health Monitoring Kiosk, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Telemedicine platform, and the CARE365 mobile application.

Training sessions have focused on system operations, activation procedures, equipment handling, digital healthcare workflows, technical support processes, and practical demonstrations designed to prepare medical staff for full-scale implementation.

The Director of Medical Services, Dr Jane, alongside selected medical personnel, participated in the training programme covering operations of the mobile clinic, health monitoring kiosk, telemedicine services, and related digital healthcare tools.

According to SiliconHub representatives, the initiative reflects a broader vision to build connected, intelligent, and accessible healthcare systems driven by digital innovation.

Once fully deployed, the CARE365 Health Hub is expected to improve diagnostic speed, patient management efficiency, real-time health monitoring, and remote consultation services through telemedicine, positioning the university’s medical centre as a digitally enabled healthcare facility.

The initiative underscores Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to enhance healthcare delivery and institutional efficiency.
