UNIZIK Opens Postgraduate Applications for 2024/2025 Academic Year
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is now accepting applications for postgraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. Available programs include Doctorate, Master's, and Postgraduate Diplomas. Applicants must meet specific educational requirements and submit their applications online by September 3, 2024.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has announced the opening of applications for postgraduate courses for the 2024/2025 academic year. The university is inviting applications for full-time, part-time, and online programs across various postgraduate degrees and diplomas.
Available Programs:
- Doctorate Degrees
- Master's Degrees
- Postgraduate Diplomas
Admission Requirements:
- General Requirements: Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language, from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or TC11 (for Faculty of Education).
- Postgraduate Diplomas: Open to graduates with a minimum FCGPA of 1.51 on a 5-point scale or a Lower Credit in Higher National Diploma from approved institutions.
- Master's Degrees: Requires a minimum FCGPA of 2.50 or 45% in the relevant field from an approved university, or a Postgraduate Diploma with an FCGPA of 3.00.
- MPhil/PhD Programs: Requires a Master’s Degree with an FCGPA of 3.00-3.49.
- PhD Programs: Requires a Master’s Degree with an FCGPA of 3.50 or 60% from an approved university.
Application Process:
1. Complete the online application form at [https://apply.cpgs.unizik.edu.ng](https://apply.cpgs.unizik.edu.ng).
2. Validate and activate your account via email.
3. Log in to pay the application fee online through Credo (local) or Paystack (international).
4. Submit your application and print the completed form and Transcript Request form.
5. Forward your academic transcripts to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies by September 30, 2024.

- Transcript Submission Deadline: September 30, 2024
PhD applicants must also submit a proposal with specific details, including the topic, background, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.
