UNIZIK postpones SUG election, gives new date

The Management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka has postponed her scheduled Student Union Government (SUG) election which was scheduled to hold on Saturday 17th June, 2023, Myschoolnews report.

This was contained in a memo released by the University's Student affairs department and made available to our correspondent, the memo was signed by the Dean Student Affairs of the University, Prof. C. H Achebe.

The memo reads thus;

This is to officially communicate to the University Community on the postponement of the Student Union Government elections earlier scheduled for Saturday 17th June, 2023. This is to enable the Student Affairs Department address some teething issues. The new date for the SUG election is Saturday 1st July 2023. The University Community is hereby notified on this development
