UNN Graduate Arrested for Theft and Fraud, Accused of Swindling Fellow Students and Businesses
He was accused by a number of students of taking their money to help them pay school fees or hostel fees and absconding with the money.
Ngene Jonathan Toochukwu, a recent graduate of UNN (University of Nigeria, Nsukka), finds himself in a predicament as he faces allegations of theft and defrauding both fellow students and local businesses within the university community. Toochukwu, who has just completed his studies in the Department of Economics, was apprehended by the school's security personnel.
Numerous students have come forward, accusing Toochukwu of duping them by purportedly offering assistance in paying school fees or hostel charges, only to vanish with their money. This wave of grievances against him prompted action from the university authorities.

Subsequently, Toochukwu's membership in the Nkanu Students Union was revoked following the emergence of these allegations.
As the investigation unfolds, Toochukwu is presently in the custody of the school security team, awaiting further inquiry into the accusations made against him.
