UNN Student Chapter shares experience in the the 2024 Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry, jointly organised by ACS Chapters in Egypt, Ghana and Nigeria.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, student chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) shared its gains in the just-concluded African Regional Conference hosted in Lagos.

The 2024 Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry was jointly organised by ACS Chapters in Egypt, Ghana and Nigeria. They aimed to provide a platform for researchers, government practitioners, and industrialists, among others, to present and discuss a wide range of evolving green chemistry strategies and innovations aimed at achieving sustainable development.
The student chapter noted that they had the privilege of participating in the Africa Regional Conference held in Lagos, a gathering that exemplified the power of collaboration, learning, and networking in the field of chemistry.
"We were live at the Africa Regional Conference hosted in Lagos. It was a wonderful time for learning and networking. ACS is on a mission to change our world. We are happy to be part of something bigger. Empowering lives through the power of chemistry," they stated.
