UNIMAID Admission Requirements for 2024: A Comprehensive Guide"
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has released its admission requirements for the 2024 academic session, providing prospective students with essential information to facilitate their application process.

General Entry Requirements:
Prospective students are required to possess a School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (SSCE) or (GCE) of (NECO) with Credits in at least five (5) Ordinary Level subjects. These credits should be obtained at not more than two sittings, subject to specific University requirements.

For entry into the one-year remedial program, candidates must have a minimum of ordinary level credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics. It's important to note that remedial courses are limited to students from catchment areas.

Direct Entry candidates aspiring for honors degrees should have "A" Level passes along with SSCE/GCE Ordinary Level Credit passes in the required subjects. These should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
Candidates with National Certificate in Education (NCE) are required to possess two passes in two major subjects and five "O" Level credit passes in the relevant subjects.
