VC makes case for ABU on staff recruitment, outstanding claims at Budget Office

The Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, was at the Budget Office of the Federation on Wednesday on a courtesy visit to its Director-General, Tanimu Yakubu. 

Issues of staff recruitment and all outstanding claims of staff were discussed during the visit. 

The Vice-Chancellor, who was accompanied by the Registrar, Rabiu Samaila; and the Bursar, Malam Mohammed Bello Aminu Gurin, was warmly received at the Office.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Director- General and other top personnel of the budget office for the understanding and warm reception accorded him and his team members. 

The Budget Office had, during the meeting, advised the university appropriately on staff recruitment and assured the institution of its readiness to look into its other submissions within the limit of budgetary provisions.

The Director- General, Budget Office of the Federation, Tanimu Yakubu, was assisted by the Director, Expenditure (Socials), Yusuf Muhammad, in receiving the Vice-Chancellor and members of his team.
