Wigwe University has announced the appointment of Professor Marwan Al-Akaidi as the Acting Vice Chancellor, effective immediately. Prior to joining Wigwe University in January 2024, Professor Al-Akaidi held leadership positions in several universities across Europe and the Middle East.

Professor Al-Akaidi is a respected academic with extensive experience in higher education, and is set to assume office immediately.

Professor Al-Akaidi brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the position. He previously served as the Dean of the College of Science & Computing and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) at Wigwe University, demonstrating exceptional competence and a strong connection with colleagues across all levels.
