World Assembly of Muslim Youth to Establish Jumuat Mosque at Federal University of Technology Babura
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has begun constructing a Jumuat Mosque at the Federal University of Technology Babura (FUTB).

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (World Assembly of Muslim Youth) has commenced the construction of a Jumuat Mosque at the Federal University of Technology Babura (Federal University of Technology Babura). The foundation laying ceremony took place on Friday, 14th February 2025, at the university's permanent site on Kano Road, Babura.
Speaking at the event, Ustaz Dr. Aminu Haruna, who represented World Assembly of Muslim Youth’s Country Director, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting educational and religious infrastructure for Muslim communities. He emphasized that the mosque would serve as a place of worship and a center for spiritual and moral development within Federal University of Technology Babura.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included the District Head of Babura, Alhaji Nataala Mustapha (Sarkin Bai Ringim), and Dr. Babangida Babura, who represented the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Babura. They commended World Assembly of Muslim Youth for its dedication to uplifting Muslim youth and fostering community development through faith-based initiatives.
World Assembly of Muslim Youth is known for its extensive efforts in education, social welfare, healthcare, and disaster relief. The organization frequently organizes conferences, workshops, and youth camps aimed at promoting Islamic teachings and encouraging young Muslims to be active contributors to society.
