Yaba College of Technology in conjunction with the National Gallery of Art on Thursday, organized an Art Fair Exhibition. The Fair featured Artworks of Lecturers of the School of Art, Design, and Printing.

In his opening remark, the Director General of, the National Gallery of Art, Ebetan Williams Ivara disclosed that the Art Fair Lagos was propelled by the National Gallery of Art's

new found love to partner with Art Schools in Nigeria and its desire to bridge the divide between Town and Gown in visual art and practice.

“There is this disconcerted notion that art teachers especially at the tertiary level are concerned with theories and publications to further the advancement of their career and that they are insulated as it were from the humdrum of studio practice. This I declare is a wrong nation” he said.
