Professor Lar encouraged staff to uphold respect, love, and professionalism in their dealings with one another. She emphasized the University's strategic location in the Federal Capital Territory, which offers a unique opportunity to export its expertise to Africa and beyond.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by senior officials, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Philip Afaha, and the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Islamiyat Abdulrahim. She was received by the Deans of the faculties visited, including Professor Abdulateef Bako and Professor Abdullahi Saleh Bashir.
Professor Lar is expected to continue her facility tour to the remaining 15 faculties of the University. Her appointment as Acting Vice-Chancellor was announced by President Bola Tinubu, as part of a series of leadership changes in federal universities .
