Akinokun Rafiat, a determined young African woman from Nigeria, has achieved the remarkable feat of winning two prestigious scholarships to pursue dual master's degrees at European universities.Rafiat secured the full Erasmus Mundus Excellence Scholarship, which will enable her to pursue a dual master's degree in Public Health at The University of Sheffield and Maastricht University. Her academic journey will be through the European Masters in Public Health (Europubhealth).

Additionally, Rafiat was honored with the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship at Queen’s University Belfast for her master's studies. Despite the challenges of applying for highly competitive scholarships during her first trimester of pregnancy, Rafiat commended herself for displaying determination and resilience. She also expressed deep appreciation for her husband's noteworthy support and belief in her potential.
