Namse Udosen, a young Nigerian teacher from the northern region of Nigeria, has triumphed over five rejections to finally clinch the prestigious Chevening scholarship to pursue his master’s degree in the United Kingdom.

Udosen, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration and Planning from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, had previously applied for scholarships such as the Mandela Washington Fellowship and Erasmus Mundus, only to face disappointment.
