The Vice-Chancellor’s visit comes after his recognition as the Best Security-Conscious Vice-Chancellor in Nigerian universities for 2023/2024 by the International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS).

Yusuf Maitama Sule University VC  Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa visits Kano State Commissioner of Police  to strengthen Security on Campus

The Vice-Chancellor of Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano (YUMSUK), Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, paid a courtesy visit to the Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, to congratulate him on his 100th day in office and reaffirm the strong ties between the university and the police force.

During the visit, Professor Kurawa commended CP Garba for his leadership and efforts to enhance security across the state. He expressed confidence in the Commissioner's ability to strengthen Kano’s security and acknowledged his significant achievements in the first 100 days.

The Vice-Chancellor’s visit comes after his recognition as the Best Security-Conscious Vice-Chancellor in Nigerian universities for 2023/2024 by the International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS).
