Her high school experience was filled with excitement, and she described the feeling of being in high school as fun and rewarding.

In a Twitter video, Oforitsenere shared her enthusiasm about the achievement, saying, "It’s very exciting because I guess I’ve kind of waited four years for this, I don’t really like to draw attention to myself … But it was definitely fun." She also reflected on her unique position, explaining, "It feels good to be graduating with the class of 2023, it’s interesting to be in this position because sometimes I compare myself to my peers who are older but then I think about it and realize graduating at 14 is a huge accomplishment."

Oforitsenere's mother, Bawo Bodunrin, recognized her daughter's academic gifts from an early age. Remarkably, Oforitsenere was already reading by the age of 2 and performing multiplication at the age of 4. Her mother expressed immense pride in her daughter's achievements, stating, "Normally you would say the sky is the limit. For her, the sky is the beginning."

Oforitsenere's path mirrors that of her elder sister, who graduated from the same high school at the age of 14 in 2019 and is currently pursuing higher education in the United States. The Bodunrin family has a strong tradition of academic excellence.Navigating high school life as a teenager amidst older peers was undoubtedly a challenge for Oforitsenere. However, with the support of her dedicated teacher, Gerri Brown, she found her place and thrived. Brown, impressed by Oforitsenere's character and determination, expressed immense pride in her student, stating, "I am so remarkably proud of Oforitsenere, she has been fun, sweet, and studious as a student and leader, and I can’t wait to see what she will do. I know she will save the world."

Throughout her four years at Martin High, Oforitsenere ensured that her academic journey was marked by numerous achievements, both in her studies and extracurricular activities. She took on leadership roles, serving as the president of the Key Club and an editor for Martin Student News. Her involvement extended to organizations like the Black Student Union, where she held the position of historian. Additionally, Oforitsenere was a state finalist for Future Business Leaders of America, president of the Filmmaker’s Society, and historian for the National Art Honors Society.
