In a Twitter video, Oforitsenere shared her enthusiasm about the achievement, saying, "It’s very exciting because I guess I’ve kind of waited four years for this, I don’t really like to draw attention to myself … But it was definitely fun." She also reflected on her unique position, explaining, "It feels good to be graduating with the class of 2023, it’s interesting to be in this position because sometimes I compare myself to my peers who are older but then I think about it and realize graduating at 14 is a huge accomplishment."

Oforitsenere's mother, Bawo Bodunrin, recognized her daughter's academic gifts from an early age. Remarkably, Oforitsenere was already reading by the age of 2 and performing multiplication at the age of 4. Her mother expressed immense pride in her daughter's achievements, stating, "Normally you would say the sky is the limit. For her, the sky is the beginning."
