The Vice Chancellor of Salem University Lokoja, Professor Alewo Johnson-Akubo, has announced that 30 graduates of the University have been called to the Bar by the Body of Benchers (BOB) in Nigeria.

Professor Johnson-Akubo made this disclosure in Lokoja, describing it as "cheering" and "encouraging news" for the institution. These new lawyers are among the first set of law students to graduate from the College of Law at Salem University.
