Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Advanced Specialised Solutions Limited for the construction of additional student hostels to support the university’s growing population.

During a meeting with the company’s delegation, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Aliyu Paiko, welcomed the partnership and noted that the university—established as an entrepreneurial institution—aims to produce graduates with practical skills alongside academic qualifications. He explained that with student enrollment expected to exceed 3,000 in the coming academic session and current accommodation capacity is less than 1,000, expanding hostel facilities has become a priority.
